Omid Mahdavi |

Manager- Omid is a certified project & quality management professional with a solid engineering background. He is skilled in operating in R&D as well as manufacturing arenas. He was a technologist in industry prior to joining the Center as a Manager. He has consulted extensively on prototyping,process, & quality improvements. He has authored/co-authored a number of publications in micro nano fabrication. He has a Masters in Chemical Engineering as well as in Biomedical Engineering. He holds a Graduate Certificate in Engineering Management and is a holder of a PMP designation from the Project Management Institute as well as a 6 Sigma Black Belt designation from Motorola University.

Steve Orozco |

Research Engineer- Steve operates & maintains most of the Center's equipment with special expertise in precision dicing. He has a solid processing background and assists clients with their complex processing needs. He is also in charge of the day-to-day operations & maintenance of our UHP water as well as the waste treatement facilities. He is the Risk Management safety coordinator.Steve has a degree in Electrical Engineering

Gregg Cure |

Maintenance Supervisor- Recipient of the 2009 Staff Excellence award. Gregg brings 25 years of industry experience. Before joining the Center, he was the site coordinator for SpeedFam-IPEC for both domestic and Southeast Asia operations. He is an avid scuba-diver and vacuum tube audiophile.

Colton Skillings |

Facility Intern- Colton is double majoring in Material Sciences & Engineering and Mathematics. He is highly motivated and has been outstanding in supporting all maintenance activities as well as building new in-house processing capabilities.


Peter Munz |

Process Intern- Peter has a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona. He has prior industrial experience working for Siemens in Europe. He supports the Center with process improvement, maintenance, & mechanical design.
