Facility Manager. Omid has many years of manufacturing experience as a Sr. technical contributor at Motorola, Burr Brown, & Texas Instruments prior to joining the Micro/Nano Fab Center. He has also been a consultant to industry on processing & quality improvements. He has authored a number of papers in semiconductor processing and has pending patents.

Gregg Cure | gcure@ece.arizona.edu
Maintenance Supervisor. Recipient of the 2009 Staff Excellence award. Gregg brings 25 years industry experience. Before joining the Micro/Nano Fab Center, he was site coordinator for SpeedFam-IPEC for both domestic and Southeast Asia operations. He is an avid scuba-diver and vacuum tube audiophile. Gregg is pursuing his degree in Electrical Engineering.

Sr. Facility Assistant. Steve is pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Arizona. He has expertise operating most of the equipment at the Micro/Nano Fabrication Center with a specialty in cutting wafers and substrates.

Gerardo Herrera

Student Intern. Gerardo is a student at San Miguel High School here in Tucson. He is doing a one year internship at the Center assisting with a variety of tasks both inside and outside of the cleanroom.
